Hey, I'm Basma!

I have always wanted to improve my English skills and feel comfortable to speak English.

My English teacher Dr. Abir El Shabaan is an amazing teacher and mentor. She is the right person for me to step forward. The classes are small and it feels as if you are tutored. In this 8 weeks program, I've learned lots of useful expressions for real conversation with native speakers. We met guest speakers who made the learning experience more fun. For instance, when we had a lesson about crowdfunding and entreprenuership, we met Mr, Cory Warfield who is an entreprenuer himself to give us a real life learning experience. This was my first time to meet an American speaking to us and with us. I loved it. During our classes, we discuss news, events and our daily life issues to face our fear of speaking English.  She always encourages me attentively, gives me feedback to better develop my English language skills.

My lessons were definitely more than teaching and learning English. She is a professional and a passionate teacher who always makes effort to inspire us.

I appreciate all of her efforts.
