Learn how Chinese characters are formed, in simplified versions.
Know the pronunciation of Mandarin and its tonal character

Use advanced grammar, syntax and vocabulary in more complex daily conversations.
Learn more about the Chinese characters and their role in the characters' pronunciation and meaning.
Level 3: You will

Express yourself and ideas using a more complex vocabs and sentences.
Understand social and cultural etiquette better in spoken and written communications.
Develop a better understanding of the relationships among different chinese components and charactres.
Required Materials:
T'ung, Ping-Cheng, and D. E. Pollard. Colloquial Chinese. Routledge and Kegan Paul, London, Boston. (ISBN 9781138950092 paper-back).
Some chapters should be covered for the learners' progress from one level to another. So far, three levels are offered to teach by a qualified teacher.

Learners' are also expected to own the companion volume Character Text for Colloquial Chinese with the full-form characters (ISBN 950857203).
Now classes are offered remotely (live through ZOOM) and can be delivered to you wherever you are.
You will be placed at one of our available three language levels based on your placement test score.
Schedule:
Learners meet with their instructor twice a week for four weeks on Monday and Wedensday or Tuesday and Thursday during the day and all day during the weekends. Our instructor is flexible to arrange the time according to the majority of the students' needs.
Start Dates: 22/ 02/ 2021 or 22/03/2021
