Vanessa believes that language is a life skill that lets students successfully adapt to their
daily lives. For this reason, she aims to bring authenticity to the classroom by using real-life
connections and situations that are relevant and helpful to the students when they go out
into the real world. She has 14 years of experience teaching ESL in culturally diverse
classrooms and has also taught adult learners from different career backgrounds, such as
homemakers, university students and even corporate clients. Vanessa is very passionate
about helping her learners reach their full potential, and she enjoys learning from them as
much as she enjoys teaching them.
